Antone C. Viveiros

Before being elected to the Middletown Town Council in 2010, Antone C. Viveiros has been active in local politics for many years as Chair of the Middletown Republican Town Committee. He is a graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, Fall River, MA, and has received advanced professional training in various areas related to his career as a Master Electrician. He was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers union for 40 years until his retirement in 2009.   Before his retirement, he worked for New England Power Service Company in Massachusetts and Teknor Apex Company, and taught technical courses for vocational and adult education programs. He is a member of St. Lucy’s Parish and Finance Committee, Vote Initiative Alliance, Middletown Schools CORE Advisory Committee, and the chairman of the Concerned Island Taxpayers Association.
