Arthur S. Weber, Jr., is the president of the Middletown Town Council. He received a bachelor’s degree in history and political science from George Washington University, a master’s degree in international affairs from Catholic University, and he is a graduate of the Naval War College. He is a retired Marine Colonel and a veteran of the Vietnam War. He holds a broker’s license in Rhode Island, and also serves as an adjunct professor at the Naval War College. Prior to his term on the Middletown Town Council, Mr. Weber served on the Middletown Planning Board for 10 years (chairman for the last 4 years), the Aquidneck Island Planning Commission for 6 years (chairman for the last three years), and the chairman of the Aquidneck Island Re-use Planning Authority since its formation in December 2008.
