Town of Middletown

Naval Station Newport held an open house Thursday, January 31 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Community College of Rhode Island where we presented the results of studies that were prepared to support the installation’s Environmental Assessment (EA) for the use of Wind Energy.  The event was attended by approximately sixty members of the community and media.

     The slides from the open house can be found towards the bottom of the page clearly marked Posters from Public Meeting (January 31, 2013).  They will open in pdf format.
    The public comment period on this process will remain open until midnight, Friday, February 15, 2013.  Comments should be submitted via US Mail to:
