The Eastern RI Conservation District (ERICD) in partnership with USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, will be conducting workshops on educating the public on the environmental and economic risks that resident Canada Geese pose and what can be done to mitigate geese pressure on private, municipal and state owned properties.  There is a workshop for Bristol and Newport Counties at Portsmouth Free Public Library on Wednesday, February 22, 2012, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.  For more information contact ERICD at 401-816-5667 or info@easternriconservation.org.
