Office of the Attorney General partners with the Middletown Police Department for National Consumer Protection Week

 The Office of the Attorney General is once again partnering with the Middletown Police Department to host a “shred-a-thon” as part of National Consumer Protection Week. The date of the event is Thursday, March 8^th, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am and will take place in the parking lot of the Middletown Police Station located at 123 Valley Road.

Residents are encouraged to bring documents containing personal information to the event and have the paperwork shredded free of charge. The event is free, but we  ask for the public to donate a non perishable food item to the RI Community Food Bank when they drop off their documents.
