USED MOTOR OIL & E-WASTE DROP OFF
USED OIL: A collection facility for used motor oil is located behind the Department of Public Works office, 19 Berkley Ave (Behind the Police Department and Fire Department). Hours of operation are from 7:30 to 3:30, Monday through Friday.
Oil filters and oil containers should be crushed and placed in your PAYT bags.
After depositing your oil please do not leave the containers used to transport the oil. These containers should be brought home and placed in with your household trash.
E-WASTE DROP OFF: A container for old electronics (“e-waste”) is located behind the Department of Public Works office, 19 Berkley Ave (Behind the Police Department and Fire Department).
Here is a list of what is accepted:
working or non-working laptops, computers, CPU boxes, all computer parts and accessories, keyboards, mice, speakers, video games and systems, camera/video/audio equipment, fax/copy machines, printers, wires, plugs, drives, cards, servers, air conditioners and dehumidifiers.

Middletown also has a separate container for TV’s and computer monitors at the same location.

Hours of operation are from 7:00 to 3:30, Monday through Friday.

Household hazardous wastes may be brought to a RIRRC Eco-Depot (visit http://www.rirrc.org for more information).
