Mission Statement

Middletown's Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) is a pedestrian and bicycle advocacy group dedicated to creating a safe, accessible, and sustainable community in Middletown, Rhode Island. Our mission is to improve the pedestrian and cycling infrastructure through advocacy, education, and collaboration. We promote walking, biking, and rolling as essential elements of a healthy lifestyle, while fostering community engagement, promoting health and sustainability, and advocating for policy change. Join us in creating a vibrant and inclusive town where active mobility is prioritized, benefiting individuals, families, and the environment.

Meetings are held at the Middletown Fire Station Community Room every 4th Tuesday of the month at 5:30pm. All community members are welcome!
