Middletown will hold a drop-off event for bulk waste on November 6; location to be announced when you make an appointment. You MUST call 401-842-6519 or email wcronin@middletownri.com to schedule a drop-off appointment. Please note, no new appointments will be taken after 3PM two days before all bulk events.
We will accept and recycle electronic waste, rigid plastic, mattresses, box springs, scrap metal and bicycles at the bulk waste amnesty events. Examples of bulk waste: kitchen table, couch, deck umbrella, lawn furniture, hot tub cover, skis & poles, lawnmower, gas grill (without the propane tank), dresser.
Items not accepted: Yard waste, tires, household trash, cardboard, household hazardous waste, concrete (in any form), items small enough to fit in a PAYT bag or more than one bundle* of lumber, construction and demolition material.
 * a bundle is as much as you can carry in your arms at one time or as much as can fit in a 30-gallon trash barrel
