MIDDLETOWN, R.I. (JULY 8, 2022) – In each of the schools across Middletown, there are students doing excellent, noteworthy things. As part of a new feature from the Town, a different student will be spotlighted for their efforts to make Middletown a more special place to live, work and play.

Accomplishment(s): Eleanor is an avid horseback rider. One of her goals is to do a horse show where she jumps horses. Eleanor has also been playing piano for six years and has been in many piano recitals. Another one of her future goals is to run a half marathon.
Loves: Eleanor really enjoys school, she likes learning new things. She’s always excited that she learns something new almost every single day.
Favorite Color: Purple
Favorite Music: Although Eleanor listens to all types of music, her favorite song is “Champion” by Carrie Underwood.
Best TV Show: “Free Rein”
Person/People I Look Up To: Eleanor looks up to her mom because she is really kind and she wants to be like her when she is older. Her mom cares for her and she rides horses with her mom.
Go To Meal: Spaghetti
What I’d Like To Do When I’m Older: Eleanor loves animals and would like to be a veterinarian for big and small animals.
Favorite Middletown Hangout: Eleanor loves going to the beach. Second Beach is her favorite and when she’s there, she loves to boogie board in the waves.

Who I’d Like To Thank: Eleanor would like to thank her teachers for teaching her new things and helping her when she has questions. Eleanor was a new student at Gaudet Learning Academy this year and has really loved her time here.
