PETA Recognizes Middletown As "Top Vegan-Friendly Beach Town"

The Town of Middletown recently joined several other high-profile "vegan-friendly" beach communities recognized by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. Locally, The Power of Juice and Plant City X were named for their work as "vegan-friendly."

Recently, a town public works crew posted the first new "walk on the left" sign along Tuckerman Avenue encouraging pedestrians to face traffic should sidewalks not be available. It is part of a continuing campaign to keep walkers safe in Middletown.
