    Using a rain barrel is one of the simplest ways to protect the Aquidneck Island watershed! About this Event Turn a used fifty gallon container into a rain barrel for your home! You will be provided with everything you need to build your own rain barrel. We will guide you through the process of converting these containers into allies for a cleaner Narragansett Bay. We will begin with a presentation on how home lawn and garden practices impact our waters and how we can make a difference and will include hands-on prepping and painting of the rain barrels. Containers generously provided by Coca-Cola. $38/barrel Masks are required at the event and physical distancing will be observed. Arrival times are staggered to reduce contact.   8. Spring Cleaning Fundraiser for the Middletown High School Student Government

    Middletown High School Student Government is running a Spring Clothing Drive fundraiser. We are encouraging Middletown families and community members to donate used or new clothes and small household goods in sellable condition. All the items will be brought to Savers who will give money to the Student Government based on our donations. Middletown schools' families can bring in donations to their school any time before April 28th. The community drop off date will be on Thursday, April 28 from 2-6 pm at Middletown High School main parking lot.
